The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
